Quick Synopsis: Acquitted after a drug scandal, South Korea’s sweetheart, Oh Yoon Seo, has become somewhat of a pariah in her industry and has failed to land scripts for any upcoming work. Her agency allows her a final chance at legal based drama, under the contingency she gets hands-on experience at an actual law firm. She is offered a three month stint as a legal secretary working for Lawyer Kwan, our no nonsense and practical male lead. This is where our Rom-Com begins!
I wasn’t blown away by the pilot episode, having started watching it nearly two months ago. However, something about this drama keeps pulling me back. Maybe it’s the office antics (I’m liking the co-workers interactions and obliviousness to the happenings around them which are building up to the subplots) or maybe it’s me wanting to root for our underdog heroine. I’m not sure yet. I‘m not anticipating fireworks or Oscar worthy performances from this one, but after five episodes watched, I’m feeling an upswing in my personal ratings and will do a full review when I’m finished with the series!
